Privacy Policy

The short version

Your files never leave your device. ToolMonkey processes everything in your browser using local AI models. We do not upload, store, or transmit your images to any server.

What we collect

ToolMonkey collects anonymous usage analytics through Vercel Analytics. This includes page views and general usage patterns — no personally identifiable information and no cross-site tracking.

We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information because ToolMonkey has no accounts.

Your files

Images you upload to any ToolMonkey tool are processed entirely within your browser. No file is sent to our servers or any third-party server. When you close the tab, any data is discarded automatically.

On first use, the AI background removal model is downloaded from img.ly's CDN (staticimgly.com). Only the model file is fetched — your images are never transmitted.

Advertising

ToolMonkey displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalised ads based on your browsing activity across sites. Your image files are never shared with Google or any advertiser.

Third-party services

ToolMonkey is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect server-level request logs (IP addresses, timestamps, request paths) as part of normal hosting operations. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Cookies

Vercel Analytics operates without cookies. Google AdSense may set cookies to serve and measure ads. ToolMonkey itself does not set any cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ToolMonkey after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
